Encourages fluidity

Many of the presenters at CCCC’s encouraged and enacted fluid and adaptable presentations of ideas. For example, Kirsti Cole was unable to attend the Convention, but this did not stop her from participating in the Blurring Boundaries Feminisms Workshop. In place of her physical presence, she sent a Prezi with a voice over, which allowed her to personalize her digital research presentation.

Jimmy Butts is another scholar who promotes a fluid idea of presentation, encouraging his students to embrace creative, innovative ways of presenting their ideas. In his presentation, he showcased several student projects from his Apocalyptic Writing course, including the presentation of student writing on the inside of a Target shopping bag.
